SongRiot is an entirely DIY project. We believe that music belongs to all of us that listen to it and create it, and we recognize that it takes resources to make kickass music, to record it and take it on the road. Songrioters acknowledge that it takes a community to foment ideas and melodies and rhythm; and that artists who offer their gifts to the world deserve to be rewarded for their diligence and passion.
